AcoustiCafe: Mark Dignam
Mark Dignam is an Irish born singer/songwriter who settled in Pittsburgh in the year 2000. He began his career, in his late teens, busking on the streets of Dublin alongside his friend Glen Hansard (The Swell Season/The Frames).
Dignam has picked up many accolades within the Irish music scene, and has been frequently cited as a masterful lyricist, renowned for memorable, highly passionate live performances.
Having taken notes from influences such as, Van Morrison, Tim Buckley and Leonard Cohen among others, Dignam now stands as a very unique voice in the genre of poetic troubadours.
